The project Owner elected to rebuild deteriorating earthen dam segments and to install a sheet pile cofferdam to strengthen the earthen dams. The basins were constructed in the 1950s and the site has seen several flooding events in recent years where more than 10 feet of floodwater may inundate the basins. The 3 basins are heavily wooded and total 161 acres with a total perimeter distance of 10,500 linear feet.
Sequoia Services, LLC was selected as the general contractor to preform the work as listed below and coordinate with suppliers & sub-contractors for completion of the work. The project was started with 60% design plans in June of 2021 and completed in February 2022.
