An engineering study resulted in a recommendation to construct improvements to the existing Hyco Lake Auxiliary Spillway as the existing structure was designed to pass the equivalent of the current ½ PMP storm event and does not comply with the current regulatory requirements. The proposed improvements to the existing Hyco Lake Auxiliary Spillway will allow the structure to pass a full PMP storm event and comply with the current regulatory requirements.
Sequoia Services, LLC was selected as the general contractor to preform the work as listed below and coordinate with suppliers & sub-contractors for completion the project. The project was completed in December 2021.
