Position Overview
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control
- Collaborate with owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GPS, schematics, and construction estimating
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Note: Additional qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or a related field may be preferred but not required.
