Position Overview

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control
  • Collaborate with owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GPS, schematics, and construction estimating
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Note: Additional qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or a related field may be preferred but not required.
